Apogee Corporation named chosen IT and
telecoms partner for Charities Buying Group
Framework
Leading Managed Workplace
Services provider Apogee
Corporation has announced
its status as chosen IT and
Telecoms partner for the
Charities Buying Group
framework agreement.
The Charities Buying Group has
selected Apogee Corporation
as their chosen IT and Telecoms
Partner, bringing comprehensive
managed technology services
to not-for-pro昀椀t organisations
across the UK. This partnership
will enable charities to access
enterprise-level solutions whilst
maximising their limited resources
and ensuring more funds can
be directed towards their vital
missions.
Formed in 2002 to address
the lack of support charities
receive with purchasing issues,
the CBG uses collective buying
power to reduce costs whilst
maximising value. By 2004, they
were commended in Parliament
for helping their 昀椀rst 255 members
achieve savings of over £1 million
in their 昀椀rst year.
Through this new partnership,
charity organisations on the
framework will gain access to
Apogee’s full suite of managed IT
and telecoms services, addressing
the unique challenges facing the
not-for-pro昀椀t sector.
“I am pleased to announce
our new partnership here at the
Charities Buying Group with
Apogee. We have both been
working on providing the best
IT and telecoms solutions for
our membership and this is now
available. We look forward to a
long-lasting relationship for the
bene昀椀t of our membership,”
says Michael Hodgetts, CEO of
Charities Buying Group.
Through the CBG framework,
Apogee o昀昀ers charities a
complete suite of managed IT
services designed to address
their unique operational needs.
These include Device as a
Service (DaaS) for accessing
contemporary IT equipment
through manageable monthly
payments, comprehensive cyber
security services to protect
against increasing cyber threats,
managed telecoms solutions for
secure business communications,
and Estate Review & Analysis
to optimise existing technology
infrastructure. Each service is
tailored to help charities maximise
their limited resources whilst
ensuring they have access to
enterprise-grade technology that
supports their vital work.
Charity IT teams are often
plagued with resource shortages,
resulting in repetitive, low-value
tasks dominating operations
whilst strategic initiatives remain
untouched. Apogee’s managed
workplace services free up internal
teams to focus on what’s truly
important.
“This partnership represents
a fantastic opportunity for
charities to transform how they
manage, secure, and utilise their
technology,” says Sam Procter,
Apogee’s Director of Managed
IT Services. “These services
are designed to boost value
whilst minimising expenditure of
resources, which not-for-pro昀椀ts
desperately need.”
Apogee already works with
charitable organisations including
Barnardo’s, Change Grow Live,
Milestones Trust, and Northern
Ireland Hospice.
By partnering with Apogee
through the CBG framework, notfor-pro昀椀t organisations can expect
signi昀椀cant cost reduction through
collective buying power, enhanced
productivity with contemporary
devices, improved security
posture, reduced IT burden on
internal teams, and better cash
昀氀ow management.
With over three decades
of experience and as an
independent subsidiary of HP
Inc., Apogee brings enterprisegrade resources to the charity
sector. This partnership
represents a signi昀椀cant step
forward in democratising access
to professional IT and telecoms
services for not-for-pro昀椀t
organisations across the UK.
